Author: Colleen Murtagh Paratore

Publisher: Simon and Schuster

Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars

Summary: I turn around and there he is. My one date. Joseph Frances Kennelly. JFK. Conjured up before me. In the flesh. Sea-blue eyes. Sandy hair. That dimple to die for. He’s even gotten cuter, if that’s possible. Boing. Cupid’s arrow hits… When the library in Bramble, Cape Cod, announces it’s in danger of closing, the town residents have got to raise big money and fast. Thirteen-year-old Willa must put her crush on Joey Kennelly on the back-burner to save the library, but the question is, how?

I read this book so quickly. The child side of me adored this book and it satisfied me perfectly. I remember reading this when I was younger and it was so nice to reminisce over it again. The writing was amazing, simple yet challenging for 6 year old me and yet the storyline still gripped me now. I’m going to keep this series to remember my younger years of reading. Overall, a great book for younger children around 5-10 ish…
